Assessments

Spring assessment schedules are set by each school to work around their unique schedule. Schools will notify families once their schedules are finalized. We want each student to perform at their best and encourage students to get good sleep and nutrition during these times. It is also important to minimize absences during your school’s testing schedule. If you have any questions about your child’s spring assessments or schedules, please feel free to contact your child’s school.

STUDENT SCORE REPORTS: 2025 state testing scores are available now in ParentVue under Test History.  At this time, these scores only include achievement level and scale score.  For more information on achievement levels, please visit the OSPI Achievement Level Descriptors site.  Due to an issue with the state data, the formal student score reports entry into ParentVue is delayed.  We will send out notification in the Northshore Connections newsletter once the issue has been resolved and the reports are available.  If you have any questions about your student’s state testing results or academic performance, please contact your student’s school.

The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department supports national, state, and district assessments.  These assessments perform many roles from fulfilling state and federal requirements; to providing important student data to schools and teachers to inform instruction or determine academic support; and providing data to support our Northshore School District Strategic Plan.
