Daily Lunch
Beginning October 9th, we will have cold lunches delivered to our campus each day for students who are interested in purchasing a school lunch. Much like in the comprehensive school program, students will have the ability to purchase a lunch using their student ID (we also have the ability to collect cash should this be the preferred option for families) Interested students can snag their lunch in the gym as their lunch period begins.
Interested families can take a look at the monthly menu and pricing options. When folks follow the link, they should select “Bear Creek” as the school. Following that, they should select the grade level listed under “Northshore Learning Options”. That page will detail the menu items each day as well as pricing information for lunch. Due to the nature of having our lunches delivered, we are able to offer lunch options most of the week instead of just on the day they are listed on the menu.
Students are also able to purchase either regular or chocolate milk by itself.
Important to know, if your student does not know their student ID, we are very happy to help! We can always look that information up in real time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about lunch on campus.
Allergies
We know that several staff and students have diverse needs, including allergies. Northshore School District does not have any peanut/tree nut products in our menus, but some of the products we purchase may be processed in a facility or with equipment that also processes nuts. We have a limited menu that we can offer that is confirmed to be from all nut-free facilities.
You can find information about accommodations for special diets HERE.
If you have questions about specific allergens, please contact our school nurse.
Outdoor Lunch
We have a wide variety of families in our program and in an effort to recognize the diverse needs of our families and students, we do offer the opportunity for students to eat lunch outdoors.
We do ask that you sign your student up for outdoor lunch by filling out this form Outdoor Lunch Form
